How are plant-based meat alternatives made?
It can be quite a process and of course there are several types of plant-based meats. Here's a very brief run down.

To these bases, vegetable oils, textured wheat proteins, flavourless coconut oil, synthetic vitamins, potato protein, additives, flavours and preservatives may be added.
PIC 2: How “cell-based/cultured/in vitro” meats are made.
I find it all very interesting, and feels it's incredibly important that consumers are aware of how products like this are made and what the potential ecological implications and health impacts are.
